The Company has been established to make strategic investments in gold and gold related entities, including, without limitation, exploration, development and production. Operations attached to the investments, including mine and mine related acquisitions in the gold sector will also be included. Gold remains the primary focus of the Company but related off take metals, such as silver, copper and the platinum group may be significant contributory factors in the strategic investment decision process. The Company will focus primarily on investment and acquisition opportunities in Europe, North America, the former Soviet Union, Africa, Latin America and Australasia. A proposed investment interest may range from a minority position to 100 per cent ownership. An investment may be made directly in a project or indirectly through partnerships, joint ventures or either quoted or unquoted companies. The Company proposes to take an active role in any investment it makes and when considered appropriate. Thus, the Directors believe this investment strategy will provide optimal returns to shareholders.
