Appointment of Independent Non-Executive Director

Essentially Group PLC (AQSE: ESSN) a leading health food company in the UAE delivering high quality nutrition (wellness shots, functional juices, lemonades, nut milks, single origin fruit juices and healthy snacks) to its customers, is pleased to announce the appointment of Ragnar Meitern to the Board as an Independent Non-Executive Director.  

Ragnar is a founder of Highgoal Capital Management OÜ and Meitern Capital Advisors OÜ, private technology focused investment and advisory firms. Ragnar's experience includes 20 years of investment banking including with ING, Standard Chartered Bank and Citi advising corporates and private equity firms on mergers and acquisitions, investments, and IPOs. Ragnar has worked in the US, the UK and the Middle East.

Ragnar has a Bachelor of Science in Finance and Economics from the Rutgers University in the United States and has gained executive education at Harvard Business School on corporate governance. Ragnar trained with Salomon Brothers, Inc. in New York.
