New European Headquarters

Quantum Exponential Group plc (AQUIS: QBIT), a company focused on investing in quantum technology, is pleased to announce that it has established a European entity and opened its first European headquarters in Copenhagen, Denmark.

Highlights

●     The headquarters will be situated within Copenhagen's Quantum Deep Tech Lab, adjacent to the recently founded Novo Nordisk Foundation Quantum Foundry, the Danish NATO Centre for Quantum Technology (part of NATO's Defense Innovation Accelerator for the North Atlantic (DIANA)) and the internationally acclaimed Niels Bohr Institute.

●    Denmark is swiftly emerging as a key player in the worldwide quantum landscape with a strong quantum ecosystem, having been selected as the location for the new NATO Centre for Quantum Technologies.

●    Quantum Exponential views this as an opportunity to grow and support investments in the broader European quantum ecosystem as it proceeds in accordance with its stated investment strategy.

Commenting, CEO of Quantum Exponential Group, Steve Metcalfe said: "As Denmark is quickly developing into a prominent stakeholder in the global quantum ecosystem, we are truly looking forward to working closely with its quantum community. We believe that establishing a European headquarters will not only create innovative opportunities within the investment space but also help to accelerate the progress that has already been made. Our commitment extends beyond Denmark, as we see this as a European opportunity to support and invest in the broader quantum landscape in alignment with our strategic vision.

"This is an exciting moment not just for Quantum Exponential, but for the entire quantum technology landscape, with governments, corporations, and financial institutions increasingly recognising the vital importance, strategic relevance, and pressing need to invest in quantum technology."

Chief Operating and Strategy Officer of Quantum Exponential Group, Stuart Woods, added: "There is a lot of momentum happening in the quantum space right now in Denmark, and we're excited to be at the heart of it. Recent global dynamics combined with our expanded understanding of quantum make Copenhagen, NATO, Novo Nordisk's Quantum Foundry, and the Niels Bohr Institute a perfect intersection for incubating the next generation of quantum technology which will help shape verticals such as medical, smart infrastructure, defence, and navigation. We are very excited to support this next evolution in partnership with Denmark and Europe."

About Niels Bohr Institute

The Niels Bohr Institute in Copenhagen will host a new NATO Centre for Quantum technologies. The Centre will include an accelerator site and incubator where companies can mature their technology and bring it to the market with sparring and input from world leading scientists from the Niels Bohr institute and other Danish universities. The Center will also host a test centre facility and laboratory where quantum technology can be developed and tested, including components in quantum sensors, quantum encryption devices and quantum computers. The new centre is part of NATO's Defense Innovation Accelerator for the North Atlantic (DIANA). DIANA aims to keep the NATO countries technological edge by promoting new and disruptive technologies in the alliance.

Denmark is home to a vibrant and innovative quantum ecosystem built on the legacy of Niels Bohr's discoveries and the team of leading physicists he brought together in Copenhagen in the 1920's. In the collaborative spirit of Niels Bohr, the Danish application to NATO was developed in close cooperation between several ministries, universities, business associations and the Danish Quantum Community. Companies from the NATO countries that will participate in the accelerator and test site will benefit from the open, innovative and collaborative spirit in the Danish Quantum ecosystem.
