100 New Bitcoin Miners Now Running at 10.4 PH in Canada

Vinanz Limited (AQSE: BTC), the London listed Bitcoin mining company focusing on decentralised deployment of Bitcoin mining clusters in multiple data facilities throughout the US and Canada, is pleased to announce that the 100 new Bitmain Antminer S19J Pro (104 TH/s) ASIC miners are now fully operational in Labrador Canada running at a combined processing power of 10.4 Petahash/s ("PH/s").

The mining hardware has been successfully installed at a data centre in Labrador, in northeast Canada, and is operating there under a fixed price hosting and services agreement.

Labrador was an ideal choice of location for the Company's first expansion of its ASIC miners as the energy in Labrador is primarily generated from GREEN HYDRO.

As previously announced on 28 April 2023 (the week after Vinanz's listing on Aquis), these new Bitcoin miners increases Vinanz's operational Bitcoin ASIC miners from 20 to 120 and increases Vinanz's combined Terrahash processing power in North America by 650% to 12,000 TH/s (or 12 PH/s).

(Note: One Petahash/s is one quadrillion  (1,000,000,000,000,000) hashes per second. In the context of Bitcoin mining or blockchain, the rate of hashes per second is an important measure of mining performance.)

David Lenigas, Vinanz's Executive Chairman, said:

"Blackrock, the world's largest asset manager, surprised the traditional finance and crypto spheres last week with its filing in the US for a "spot" traded Bitcoin ETF and this could prove to be a real game changer for the global acceptability of Bitcoin as a legitimate transactional currency if the US SEC allows it."

"With Bitcoin really hotting up in the mainstream global news channels again, I'm very pleased to announce that Vinanz now has its first new 100 Bitcoin Mining Cluster up and spinning in Canada with a combined processing power of 10.4 PH, which is exactly what the Company asked for performance wise.  This Bitcoin Miner Cluster deployment in Labrador has demonstrated the success of our expansion model of building out a decentralised cluster of Bitcoin miners in the USA and Canada using third party data centres to host and manage our machines as opposed to owning our own infrastructure. We see now that this model works well for us, and the model can be expanded on and rolled out. Labrador has proved to be an ideal choice for our first BMC install, as the electrical power in Labrador is primarily generated from green sources and has given us a competitive contracted power cost."
