Q2 may have been quiet on the equity markets front, but things have still been hectic for us at Aquis Stock Exchange! Right off the back of our corporate rebrand in March, we threw a huge 10-year party in May at the Museum of London for all our stakeholders and had a jam-packed events calendar throughout the spring – including the annual Small Cap Awards and many other new initiatives such as our Aquis Women in Business panel discussion on funding options for young enterprises and our new Journey to IPO events to help companies navigate the process of listing.
In addition, we welcomed 2 new companies to our Growth Market, alongside a handful of exciting developments from our existing issuers.
More on all this below…
The Aquis group hosted its 10-year anniversary celebration at the Museum of London on 18th May. It was fantastic to see over 600 people – clients, partners, staff, friends and more – show up to celebrate this incredible milestone. We’ve come a long way in a decade from our original pan-European Equities trading venue to the addition of our technology licensing, Stock Exchange and dark pool trading offerings; but our overarching purpose and mission to democratise markets has remained the same.
With a keynote speech by City of London Policy Chairman Chris Hayward and some impassioned words from founder and CEO Alasdair Haynes, it was certainly a night to remember. A huge thank you to everyone who attended and has been part of our journey thus far. We’re just getting started!
