Cascade Partners with world leaders, BytePlus and Seedance to Launch

Global Film Making Competition

Mollyroe plc (AQSE: MOY), which owns Cascade, the AI-native production platform built for filmmakers, creators, agencies and brands, is pleased to announce that Cascade has entered into a partnership arrangement with BytePlus and Seedance, to launch its global Greenlight Film Competition.

BytePlus is the enterprise technology division of ByteDance, providing businesses with cloud infrastructure and AI solutions and Seedance is ByteDance’s generative AI video technology, enabling the creation of video content from text and images. Partnering with BytePlus and Seedance allows Cascade to skip years of foundational R&D. By plugging directly into ByteDance’s AI stack, Cascade users can leverage field-tested, consumer-grade technology-boosting efficiency in digital marketing, real-time personalization, e-commerce conversion, and synthetic media creation.

The Competition, launched on 13 October 2026, invites filmmakers and creators to pitch a teaser for a story, using Cascade’s filmmaking platform to develop their ideas. Under the theme “Great stories deserve a shot”, the initiative is designed to support emerging creative projects and demonstrate the capabilities of Cascade’s AI-native production platform.

The Competition will select four winners, who will share a US$100,000 cash prize pool, funded jointly by Cascade, BytePlus and Seedance. In addition, the winning projects will receive a production greenlight and a package of platform credits to support production, with BytePlus providing credit support. It will be judged by a jury of award-winning filmmakers, whose identities will be announced during the competition. Submissions close on 4 December 2026, with the official selection and winners expected to be announced in the new year.

The launch represents Cascade's first major initiative following the launch of its platform and the Company's recent fundraise. The competition aims to showcase the capabilities of Cascade, attract new users and convert participants into paying customers.
