Submission of Val Vedello EIA & Update on Novazza EIA
Reveille [AQSE: REV], a
Following submission of the Val Vedello EIA, the MASE commission (Commissione Tecnica VIA) will undertake a comprehensive review of the application in accordance with Italian and European Union environmental legislation. The review of the EIA represents the principal environmental regulatory stage prior to the granting of the exploration licence.
Based on the applicable permitting timetable, the Company expects the review of the Val Vedello EIA to be completed within approximately six to nine months of submission. Upon completion of the environmental review process and receipt of the necessary approvals, the exploration licence is expected to be granted.

The visit was attended by representatives of MASE together with a number of national, regional and local public authorities, including the Mayor of Valgoglio (the municipality in which the Novazza project is located), representatives of the
The site visit represents an important milestone in the advancement of the Novazza EIA. Following the inspection, MASE is expected to issue a series of technical observations and requests for supplementary information to FEI, where appropriate, as part of the ongoing environmental assessment process. The official site inspection forms part of the statutory environmental review process and represents a further procedural step towards completion of the EIA review.
