Vinanz Adds 170 Bitcoin Miners in North America

Vinanz Limited (London AQSE: BTC and US OTCQB: VINZF), the London listed Bitcoin mining company focusing on decentralised deployment of Bitcoin mining clusters in multiple data facilities throughout the US and Canada, is pleased to announce that further to its news release of 15 November 2023, that it has now completed the acquisition of 170 Bitmain Antminer S19J Pro (110 Terahash) ASIC Bitcoin miners.

These ASIC miners are being operated under a hosting agreement with BlockLAB in one of their data centres in Labrador, Canada. By adding these 170 miners to the 100 miners already operating and being hosted at BlockLAB, all the miners now enjoy a 12% reduction in power costs resulting in an across the fleet power price of less than 6 US cents per kilowatt hour, which adds to the profitability of all miners spinning at BlockLAB.

These 170 ASIC miners have added ~17.8 Petahash/second ("PH/s") of processing power to Vinanz's fleet.

The total number of Bitcoin miners now operating in North America has now grown to 290, with a combined processing power across all three operational clusters growing to about 30 PH/s.  These additional miners that have been added to our fleet this week join other miners currently operating in Canada and United States.

David Lenigas, Vinanz's Executive Chairman, said:

"It was extremely fortuitous to have secured these 170 Bitcoin miners that were already spinning in Canada. The combined processing power of nearly 18 Petahash for these machines is excellent and these units more than double our spinning ASIC miner fleet.  We are also actively looking at the best options available to us to further increase our overall fleet to 400 miners as soon as possible. The Company is totally focused on building out the number of Bitcoin miners operating in North America before the next Halving in April next year, when the market is expecting to see a significant rise in Bitcoin price. We have already seen significant BTC price rises in recent weeks having seen the Bitcoin price go through US$43,000 last night from US$25,000 only 3 months ago."
