Silverwood Brands PLC announced that the Company has agreed to acquire Cosme Science Corporation, a premier Japanese manufacturer of beauty products, and its 100% subsidiary, Dr Baeltz, a pioneering skincare, and self-care brand, from its parent company Hokkan Holdings Corporation. The acquisition is to be conducted through Silverwood's Japanese subsidiary, Sonotas Corporation, with a projected closing date by the end of March 2024.

Good Life Plus PLC announced the completion of a subscription offering for a total of 90,222,223 ordinary shares, each valued at £0.001, at a price of 2.25p per share, resulting in a total fundraising of £2.03 million. Winforton Investments Limited (“Winforton”), a private investment vehicle linked with Mark Blandford, the founder of Sportingbet Plc (subsequently acquired by GVC Holdings, now renamed Entain Plc), subscribed £2 million of the total amount.

The Company announced that upon Admission, Winforton will hold an interest in 128,888,889 Ordinary Shares, equivalent to approximately 17.9% of the Company’s expanded issued ordinary share capital. Marula Mining PLC announced the expansion of its geological and exploration team in Kenya with the appointments of Mr Gilbert Kibet as Project Geologist and Ms Joy Chebet as Graduate Geologist. They will focus on commencing exploration at the Larisoro Manganese Mine in Samburu County, Northern Kenya, with which Marula recently secured a 60% commercial interest in through a binding terms sheet with Kenyan operator Gems and Industrial Minerals Limited. Reporting to Mr Collins Aseto, Head of Exploration, East Africa, Mr Kibet and Ms Chebet will execute the exploration program, including mapping, trenching, and drilling. Mr Aseto oversees exploration programs in East Africa and identifies opportunities in Kenya and Tanzania aligned with the Company’s goals. Besides Larisoro, the team will support ongoing activities in Kenya and assist with exploration in Tanzania throughout 2024.
