The Group's three oncology centres in the UK, named The Rutherford Cancer Centres, offer a comprehensive range of cancer treatments to patients including proton beam therapy (“PBT”), conventional radiotherapy, chemotherapy, immunotherapy, imaging and wellbeing services. <p>The three centres, based in Newport, South Wales, Bomarsund, Northumberland and at Reading, are the first to offer high energy proton beam therapy in the United Kingdom with the first patients having received PBT at the Group's oncology centre in Newport in April 2018.
