Chapel Down announces that following the exercise of share options under the Company's Employee Share Option Scheme, application has been made for 10,000 new ordinary shares of 5 pence each ("Ordinary Shares") to be admitted to the NEX Exchange, which will rank pari passu with the Company's existing Ordinary Shares, and admission to trading is expected to be effective on 26 July 2018 ("Admission").

Following Admission of the new Ordinary Shares, the Company will have 141,185,211 Ordinary Shares in issue with each share carrying the right to one vote. This figure may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations to determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, the Company under the FCA's Disclosure Guidance and Transparency Rules.
