VI Mining Board Changes

VI Mining announces that Mr Jide Zeitlin, as a result of his other business commitments, will be stepping down as non-executive chairman of the Company effective immediately.  He will remain as a non-executive director of the privately-held Sumner Group Holdings Limited, the majority shareholder of VI Mining.

Mr David Sumner, current CEO of the Company, will be appointed non-executive chairman of the Company effective immediately. 

Mr Allan Rowley, will take on the role of CEO in addition to his current responsibilities as CFO of VI Mining.

David Sumner, commented: "we would like to thank Jide for his immense support and guidance over the last few years as the Company established itself as an emerging miner in the Peru, and transitioned itself from a private to public corporation.  We look forward to continuing to seek his counsel as a director of our majority shareholder.  I am also delighted that Allan will take on the role of CEO who we believe is best placed to take our Company through its next stage of growth as we expand our footprint in Latin America."
