Extension of publication of the FY 2020 accounts
VI Mining PLC ("VIM" or the "Company") announces that, due to COVID-19 related delays in the preparation of the accounts of the Company's subsidiaries in Peru, the Company has been granted a one month extension by the Aquis Exchange to the 30 September 2020 deadline of producing its consolidated audited annual results for the year ended 31 March 2020.
The Company's main operations are located in Peru where Government has imposed some of the world's strictest lockdown measures. As a result, it is experiencing extensive delays in the preparation and auditing of the group accounts.
The Company is working towards the publication of consolidated audited annual accounts, but plans to issue unaudited consolidated preliminary accounts as soon as possible and before 31 October 2020 to inform its shareholders as well as the market.
