Notice of 2020 Annual General Meeting

The British Honey Company plc, the producer of premium British honey, honey-infused spirits and alcohol sanitiser products, announces that the Notice of Annual General Meeting ("AGM") and Form of Proxy are being posted to shareholders today and are available to download from the Company's website, https://britishhoney.co.uk/pages/agm.

Details of the AGM

The AGM will be held at 11.00am on 25 September 2020 at the offices of Hill Dickinson LLP, The Broadgate Tower, 20, Primrose Street, London EC2A 2EW. Having taken into consideration the current measures that have been published by the UK Government restricting public gatherings, the Board has decided that should these directives remain in place up to the AGM, shareholders, advisers and other guests will NOT be allowed to attend the AGM in person. Anyone seeking to attend the meeting will be refused entry and as such, shareholders should note that they are NOT entitled to attend the AGM in person unless notified otherwise.

The AGM will therefore be conducted as a closed meeting with the business of the AGM being curtailed to the formal business section only. Shareholders are therefore strongly encouraged to submit their votes for each resolution as set out in the Notice of Annual General Meeting by completing and submitting the Form of Proxy as soon as possible and to appoint the chairman of the meeting as proxy to ensure votes are counted. Both are available to download from the Company's website (details above). The voting results for each of the resolutions will be published on the Company's website as soon as possible after the conclusion of the AGM.

Any shareholders wishing to ask questions regarding the business of the AGM are encouraged to submit them as soon as possible to the Chair via email to AGM2020@britishhoney.com. Responses will be given via the Company website following the AGM.

In the event that further disruption to the 2020 AGM becomes unavoidable, any changes to the meeting will be announced as soon as practicably possible.

About British Honey Company

Launched in 2014, BHC is famed for its award-winning fruit and honey infused spirits, marketed under the Keepr's brand. Many of the Keepr's spirits are infused with BHC's proprietary British Honey from its fully traceable apiaries. The impressive spirits range with seasonal lines spans eight gins, four vodkas, two rums, two bourbons and a whiskey which is scheduled for release later this year. All of BHC's spirits are distilled onsite in the company's specially customised Still under the watchful eye of international award-winning Master Distiller, Jamie Baggott. In March 2020 BHC diversified its product range by developing its first alcohol sanitiser product in the UK in response to the Covid-19 outbreak.  This was produced using BHC's excess alcohol supplies and under authorisations obtained from HMRC to use denatured alcohol for alcohol sanitiser use.
